SHANANYA hibiscus imageI’m inspired by the SHARANYA community.

It’s always useful to reference the work of talented organizers. SHARANYA provides a good case study for effective community building. Community building tips from SHARANYA:

  • MyNewsletterBuilder.com. They’ve done a nice job making sophisticated outreach methods accessible to volunteer driven communities.
  • Fundable.org. Fundable is an intelligent web platform that enables a new form of collective financing.
  • SHARANYA is using both of those tools to coordinate and fund their education efforts in India. With the help of Fundable, and PayPal, you can support SHARANYA’s efforts to distribute educational materials to English, Assamese, and Hindi speaking women and girls in India.

I was fortunate to come into contact with the SHARANYA community a couple years ago, and it’s been fun watching their work expand. They’re supported by a diverse group of volunteers from many corners of the world.

Check out their beautifully redesigned website by clicking the link at the top of this post. These are remarkable people doing remarkable things.

    Jai Maa!
